How we compare
This publication is written by Bryant Hargreaves, founder of OpenRTC. We disclose that relationship and meaningful AI assistance.
Evidence before conclusions
We distinguish official documentation, calculated scenarios, and measured runs. Calculations state users, concurrency, payload size, rate, duration, fan-out, billing units, and excluded services. A runnable example is not a performance benchmark.
Download the shared-cursor comparison lab. It uses published packages and your own provider accounts. Its README separates build qualification from network measurements.
Fair comparisons
We compare equivalent application behavior and include subscription minimums, free allowances, capacity limits, required infrastructure, and delivery semantics. We describe where another tool is a better fit. We publish customer prices, never internal OpenRTC provider economics.
Freshness and corrections
Sources are dated. We recheck material pricing and capabilities before publication and monthly afterward. Corrections update the article’s modification date and any syndicated edition.

Discovery and AI
